Recruiting: Purchasing Coordinator

We are recruiting a Purchasing Coordinator to be based at our Cheshire site.

Key functions of this role include:

Generate purchase orders using the MRP system.
Create manual purchase orders for non-standard items.
Use established appropriate methods to place orders with suppliers.
Monitor progress of ordered parts, where necessary liaise with relevant individuals regarding any delays / problems to ensure agreed delivery dates are met.
Inform the Purchasing Team Leader of changes in the price of stock or ordered items.
Generate returns paperwork in accordance with the returns procedure.
Deal professionally, competently and courteously with customers, suppliers and colleagues in verbal and written communications.

In order to be considered for this role you will need experience of placing and progressing purchase orders within a fast paced, high volume environment. Ideally, you will have experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
