Tray Sealers – PA182

Packaging Automation’s most popular model is the semi-automatic twin station rotary table PA182 machine with is extremely easy to operate, install and maintain and can be moved from one production line to another. The machine can seal reel film foil lids to compatible pre-formed trays (plastic, foil or board) and is capable of sealing up to 30 packs per minute. The PA182 has become the workhorse of the food packaging industry since it was first designed and manufactured by Packaging Automation in the 1970’s. It has been continually updated and modernised over the decades, however the basic design principles remain the same. The PA182 is available with modified atmosphere packing to extend shelf life.

Materials

The PA182 has the ability to heat seal film pre-cut foil, paper or laminate lids to preformed trays and containers of CPET, Polypropylene, PVC, Styrene, Board, Smooth Walled Foil, Pre-cut Board, Paper, Plastic, Foil Lids and many other types of container.
