Job Vacancy - Supply Chain Administrator

Purpose of the Job -To provide full administrative support to the Supply Chain Department
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

1.1 Create manual purchase orders via SYSPRO for in-direct materials/items
1.2 Expedite purchase orders for direct and in-direct materials in a timely manner, where necessary inform the Supply Chain Manager regarding any delays / problems to ensure agreed delivery dates are met
1.3 Undertake regular general maintenance of SYSPRO stock cards, stock references and price information
1.4 Creation of new stock codes in SYSPRO
1.5 Inform the Supply Chain Manager of changes in the price of stock or ordered items
1.6 Responsible for the smooth running of the anodising process
1.7 Ensure that all filing of customer and supplier correspondence is maintained on a regular basis
1.8 Booking in and closing off works orders
1.9 Provide logistical support as and when required
1.10 Carry out where necessary all other administrative duties when required
1.11 Assist colleagues with problems that arise offering practical and
appropriate solutions
1.12 Deal professionally, competently and courteously with customers, suppliers and colleagues in verbal and written communications

2.5 Provide reception cover as required
2.6 To carry out any other duties as and when required
