It's not all about easter eggs and bank holiday weekends this month, it’s the start of the blueberry season in some of our markets and #TeamPA have been very busy!
As the business continues to grow so does the fleet and this month, we added a new van to our fleet.
After a lot of hard work, two heaters and multiple trips, the Service and Spares Team are now fully installed in their new home .
We also placed an order for a new milling machine to help increase capacity in the Machine Shop – more to follow on this soon…
New Starter – Tom Clinch joins us in Mechanical Design – welcome Tom
Congratulations to Joe Grant who completed his apprenticeship on 1st April and joined the Machine Shop as a CNC Miller and permanent member of the team. Well done, Joe!
Graham Heyward, Mechanical Assembly Fitter retired – thank you Graham and enjoy your retirement.
It has been another hectic month for the Projects Team with machines being dispatched throughout the UK and globally. Click here to find out what machines went where in April.
April saw us deliver mental health awareness training to 3 managers and 2 team leaders this month – we covered different types of mental health problems, how to recognise them and how to support those experiencing mental health issues – internal and external support available, personal resilience and well-being, disability discrimination on the grounds of mental health and eliminating discrimination from the recruitment process.
We also had fire warden training this month for 13 members of #TeamPA - keeping the team safe!

Health & Safety Executive Spot Check
During April we also had a spot check visit from the Health & Safety Executive who are carrying out spot checks and inspections on all types of business to ensure they are COVID secure and compliant with government guidance.
We are delighted to say the visit went very well and they were assured that we are doing everything possible to be Covid compliant and keep our staff, customers, suppliers and visitors safe!
Willow the office dog!
Following last month’s training, Willow the office dog continues to make progress….we’re not sure how much help she is but she continues to delight us all.
We will continue to bring you all the latest news from #TeamPA again in May but until then …stay safe and look after each other!
