The Client: Binghams Cooked Meats
Binghams make a range of potted meats and following in the tradition of Charles Bingham who started the business over 100 years ago they still use only the finest ingredients.
They supply their products to the major retailers including – Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose & Booths.
A long standing PA customer heavily reliant on their ROTOFILL machine they contacted PA to discuss service contract options for this machine.
As the main machine for production, Binghams were keen to ensure the machine remained reliable, delivering maximum output and to limit any potential disruption to production through breakdowns.
The Service Package: Assessment Based Service Package
Binghams were offered an assessment based option for a 6 monthly inspection on their Rotofill pot filler and their EC182 machine tray sealer.
With this contract they also benefit from a service agreement spares discount on all orders for the duration of the agreement.
In addition, any spare time following the assessments can be utilised for training or line optimising whilst on site to make the most of each visit.
The Result: Peace of mind with well-maintained machines
The service agreement covers both PA machines, and their first assessment visit was completed in November 2020, the outcome of which was very minimal work needed and well running machines.
