This month we experienced a true British summer with temperatures soaring and records broken but here at #PackagingAutomation July was as busy as ever for #TeamPA.
Here’s a quick recap of what happened during July at Packaging Automation….
This month we successfully renewed our
Safe Contractor Accreditation.
Mental Health Awareness Training
Jo Porter and Tanya Westenraad completed their Mental Health Awareness training in July, an important achievement and one which will be of great benefit to our colleagues.
New Starters
We welcomed 2 new starters to #TeamPA:
- Nick Read joined the Accounts Team
- Megan Gresty joined the HR Team
Apprentices
This year’s Apprentice recruitment campaign concluded in July, and we have now appointed 3 new Apprentices who will join #TeamPA on the 1st September …. we’ll bring you more on this once they start!
Long Service
This month Andy Duckworth reached the 5 years’ service milestone – well done Andy , here’s to the next 5 years!
Machines
The Projects Team continued to deliver vast numbers of machines to customers in the UK and Europe, as always continuing to put our customers first.
Here’s just a glimpse of what went out this month:
2 more Eclipse SL4 fully electric automatic tray sealers started their journey to Europe this month to pack soft fruit.
This time a bit closer to home, an Eclipse 182 semi-automatic two station rotary table tray sealer headed to Scotland to pack oysters. #seafoodtraysealer
In other news…
Mike Riley and wife Tina welcomed their 3rd child , a daughter called Lydia on 15th July – congratulations Mike, we can’t wait to see the baby pics!
Jo Porter’s son Ray joined us after finishing his GCSEs to help out over the summer and enjoyed a trip to Derbyshire with Deon to deliver a tray sealer to a customer to help pack cheese #cheesetraysealer
