June saw another busy month for #TeamPA.
Here’s a quick recap of what happened during June at Packaging Automation….
Apprentice Recruitment Afternoon
Wednesday 29th June we held our annual Apprentice Recruitment afternoon, the number and quality of applicants was very high this year providing us with a great choice of new apprentices to join #TeamPA We’ll let you know as soon as appointments are made.
Due to continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a new role in our Purchasing Team for a Buyer In-Directs. Joining a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-end procurement process, delivering cost savings, spend management and driving innovation. Further information can be found here.
In June we also welcomed Blaise Gibbons for one week’s work experience, Blaise is a 17 year old student from Lymm High School currently studying Maths, Physics and Biology at A level.
Blaise proved to be a very intelligent young man, and has shown great interest in a career in manufacturing / engineering.
In June we said a sad goodbye to Jill Robinson from our HR Team, Jill has been with #TeamPA since October 2018 when she was working as temp on reception. PA quickly recognised Jill’s qualities and within a few weeks Jill was offered a 6 month contract as Receptionist, then a permanent contract followed in May 2019.
