We have a vacancy for a CNC Off-Line Programmer
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a CNC Programmer with experience of working in a similar role and has preferably completed a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline. The successful applicant will be a proficient user of Edgecam.
As the Off-Line Programmer you will report directly into the Production Manager. You will ensure the prompt availability of programs for CNC manufactured items to meet production and customer deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Produce programs for in house CNC manufactured items from drawings received from Design Engineers
Inform Design Engineers of billet sizes for BOM purposes for tooling.
Ensure CNC programs are available for release to the machine operator through DNC link
Produce Pro-Report drawing for use by machine operator
Liaise with shop floor to relay accurate machining informatio
Assist the Design Team where appropriat
Ensure that all documentation is maintained on a day to day basis
Ensure that all information is stored in the appropriate manner
Support the Production Planner in monitoring and maintaining schedules and plans to reflect changes in priorities and deadlines
