Another busy month here at Packaging Automation with #TeamPA working hard to get machines enroute to customers premises.
Here is a quick round up of the machines leaving Packaging Automation in February 2021.
This Rotofill pot filler is on its way to Scotland where it will be packing Fish Pate.
The Rotofill is a flexible high speed rotary filling and closing machine incorporating servo technology. It can be used to seal pre-cut lids or reel fed film with clip on overcaps or a rnage of tamper evident closures. Production speeds are dependent on the pot size, product consistency, fill volume and closure type but can be up to 120 pots per minute.
There have been a few Eclipse SL4 machines off to customer sites this month.
A fully electric automatic tray sealer, the Eclipse SL4 combines medium speed output with quick tool changes and a compact space saving design. Incorporating POWERDRIVE technology, there is no requirement for a compressed air supply. It can be used to seal reel fed film to pre-formed trays and can be configured to use MAP-F gas flushing, full MAP-V vacuum and SkinPAC for extended shelf life.
Dependant on the tray size it can seal up to five packs at a time giving a maximum output of 75 packs per minute. Electric supply only is required for this machine.
