The Challenge: New Product Development
New to heat sealing products, the PA Test Kitchen team were happy to help this customer and set about testing and trialling different materials and options to achieve the best possible results for this new product development – vegan chocolate.
Introductions were made to different suppliers from the PA extensive supplier database and trials were run to find the best possible solution.
The Solution: Rotary Tray Sealer Eclipse 182
The Eclipse 182 presented the best option for this customer giving them heat seal technology, beautifully packaged and presented product and the best possible shelf life.
This semi-automatic two stations rotary tray sealer machine is designed to bring low level automation into the production environment. It is portable, enabling it to be moved from one production line to another with quick tool changeover.
The Result: New product launched
With the installation of the Eclipse 182, the customer was able to launch their new product range confident in the presentation of the product. They have also improved throughput and can now pack up to 40 packs per minute.
